Part of the Glory of the Cataclysm Raider meta-achievement which awards Drake of the East Wind.

During Phase 1 (ending at 25% health), many of Cho'gall's damaging abilities will inflict Corrupted Blood, which can be monitored using the scale which appears when the encounter begins. Abilities which stack Corrupted Blood include:

- The Corrupting Crash from Corrupting Adherents (avoid purple swirls on the floor when they appear).

- The Depravity ability from Corrupting Adherents (simply interrupt the cast).

- Festering Blood (this will only activate if the Corrupting Adherent is left alive for too long. Kill it and this shouldn't happen).

- Black pools left behind when a Corrupting Adherent dies (don't stand in them).

- Blood of the Old God melee attacks (these adds spawn when Cho'gall casts Fester Blood while pools are active. Simply let ranged dps take care of them, and do not let them hit you if fixated).

Cho'gall's damaging abilities on the tank will not stack Corrupted Blood, but tanks should be aware that Corrupting Crash can still hit them if they are not paying attention.

Avoid all of these abilities and you should end Phase 1 with little to no Corrupted Blood stacks.

During Phase 2 (starting at 25%), Corrupted Blood cannot be avoided, and the achievement becomes a dps race at this point. Pop Bloodlust and use all damage cooldowns to defeat him before any raid member hits 30 stacks. At level 90 this should not be a problem on Normal difficulty.
