Posted Jun 6, 2014 (Patch 6.0.1)Added in Patch 3.1, this was the first legendary item ever for healers (
Cosmic Infuser doesn't count). Its original item level was 239, but increased to 245 when Blizzard realized that it wouldn't be competitive with healer weapons from ToC 25 in Patch 3.2.0.
Not many players managed to complete Val'anyr while
Ulduar was current, due to the raiding tier only lasting just short of five months. It was a tragic mistake and Blizzard acknowledged it as such. It was because of this that the 
Firelands, originally scheduled for Patch 4.1, was delayed until Patch 4.2.
