Posted 10/29/2012 12:41:55 AM (Patch 5.0.5)Golden Lotus either spawn as their own plant, or from a Sha-Touched Herb. You cannot get them from picking most regular herbs like you could with the lotuses from Northrend and Outland. You can also grow them on your farm using Enigma Seeds, or purchase them in your faction's city in Vale using Spirits of Harmony.
Update: as of 5.1, you can now proc Golden Lotus from picking any Pandaria herb.
