Posted 4/11/2013 2:02:22 PM (Patch 5.2.0)you could actually do that with
/cast [@player] Chi Wave
then you're not messing with the buggy macro targeting that in my experience doesn't always work as intended, and it always casts chi wave at yourself (of course change chi wave with whatever other ability/talent if you want to cast something else at yourself)
But casting at self isn't nessecary if you're the only one in range of your chi wave. It always heals 4 times and damages 4 times regardless if cast at a friendly or enemy. And if you're not the only friendly in range of your chi wave, then it's probably going to bounce to someone else whether cast at self or enemy.

Posted 1/29/2013 11:52:46 AM (Patch 5.1.0)This is a great talent when soloing as all healing bounces are yours. You can ensure a higher healing output by targeting yourself before casting Chi wave. This will give a maximum amount of 4 healing bounces. A simple macro that can do this for you with one click is:
#showtooltip
/target YourCharactersName
/cast Chi Wave
/targetlastenemy
