Possession of the Lesser Charms of Good Fortune will result in great happiness and the eventual conversion into Warforged Seals, which allow players to risk a coin to receive a bonus reward from raid encounters.

Posted Apr 13, 2013 (Patch 5.3.0)You can earn these doing max level pet battles. You have a chance to get 3-6 coins after winning a pet battle. The odds are pretty decent; you could theoretically get your three Mogu Runes of Fate each week just by doing a bunch of pet battles.

Posted Jan 22, 2013 (Patch 5.2.0)These tokens, earned by completing daily quests throughout Pandaria, give you access to Elder Charms of Good Fortune, a unique currency that will grant you a bonus roll on loot (independent from the rest of the members) in all Pandaria raids, including LFR, normal, heroic modes, Sha of Anger, and Galleon.
In your faction's city in Vale of Eternal Winds, there is a weekly quest (Alliance / Horde) to collect 90 Lesser Charms of Good Fortune, which rewards 3 Elder Charms of Good Fortune. There is an overall limit of 10 Elder Charms, at which point you need to spend them in order to continue turning in your weekly quest.
Both types of charms display in a player's currency tab.
