Posted Sep 28, 2012 (Patch 4.3.2 or earlier)The once-friendly Zandalari trolls have banded together with the Amani and Gurubashi troll tribes in order to rebuild/restore the ancient troll empire that once held power over great swathes of Azeroth. (Patch 4.1 saw the introduction of the Zul'Aman raid and the removed Zul'Gurub raid as 5-man dungeons with updated, Cataclysm-level gear.)
The achievement
It is possible for a character to become Neutral with the faction post-Cataclysm by simply interacting with Chabal, Ghaliri, or Maywiki (see Members tab); however, it is not possible to progress any further.

Posted Aug 25, 2014 (Patch 6.0.1)This faction was added in Patch 1.7, when the Zul'Gurub 20-player raid instance was released. It was removed in Patch 4.0.1 when the raid version of the instance was retired.
