Initially I thought that this was the Warlords of Draenor version of the  Bone-White Primal Raptor - a mount for people who don't mind grinding ridiculous amounts.

However, after a couple weeks of lazily doing the Tanaan dailies, I find that I can almost afford this incidentally (in fact, I probably could have a few days ago if I hadn't bought a bunch of other mounts that cost apexis).  If you really like this mount and are discouraged by the cost, just do Tanaan stuff and it'll happen sooner than you expect.  You definitely do not have to go out that and grind endless mobs for apexis
