Posted Sep 7, 2018 (Patch 8.0.1)Currently, the toy is placing a big mound of snow rather than summoning a clothes chest that, once clicked on, causes the character to appear to be wearing Winter Veil clothes. I'm not sure if this is a bug or a nerf (a number of other Winter Veil toys/pets have more limited use when the holiday event is not active).
Edit: According to a commenter on Wowhead, players were using the toy's unintended hit box to physically block players into certain areas when BfA launched. Blizz then changed it to a pile of snow.
