lvl 25: 1627/305/227, effective for a "hit and run" playstyle, which gets only better due to curse of doom triggering the heal component of siphon life, if the pet that is debuffed with both dies of the CoD.
CoD-Siphon-Howling-Siphon swap out would not only give you passive healing, but also get the oponent reluctant to keep the current pet out (due to the siphon-CoD healing) thereby the swap is likely to not cost you a turn (either same turn swap or soon after= you get your extra attack back sooner or later).
The pet itself is able to be sold on the Auction House if you wanted to. You can do this by learning the BoP pet itself from Landro Longshot, opening your pet tab, right clicking on the pet and putting it 'In a Cage'. This turns the pet into a battle pet and allows you to sell it on the AH.
This battle pet is from the "War of the Elements." TCG set. The code for it must be redeemed on WoW's Promotion page which gives you an in game code for "Landro Longshot" an npc in booty bay.
This pet has a unique sound file for it's laugh when it kills an enemy in battle. It also has the ability to randomly ice block nearby critters and frostbolt them to death. The card does unfortunatly share the same skin as the blizzard store lil'kt pet.
The flavor text on the card is "How the goblin Landro Longshot initially came into possession of the lichling remains a mystery, but he was all too eager to wager it in a game of cards." (cross post from the battle pet section)

It'd be nice if they differentiated this from the pet store one somehow.
It is the same deal as with the Lil'XT. Same model and animation as the one from the store. Just another way to obtain it I guess

Even stronger with pets that can chill (preferably with blizzard), and or pets with http://www.warcraftpets.com/abilities/magic/wild-magic/ to make the dots tick for more (and thereby the healing stronger)
