Posted May 13, 2014 (Patch 5.4.8)There is no recipe for learning this yellow gem cut. Jewelcrafters must discover it through
Sun's Radiance or 
Secrets of the Stone (no CD). It is possible to learn this cut from any of the other JC daily cool-downs, but only after learning all of that color's cuts and even then the color of cut learned is randomly chosen from all of the other colors/cuts not yet learned. The most dependable of means of quickly learning how to cut Smooth Sun's Radiance is using the Sun's Radiance cool-down.
Critical Strike is important to a number of specs, e.g: Fire mages, so the cut gem should* sell well on any realm's Auction House.
