This pet is redeemed from a common loot card from the WoW Trading Card game. Is it from the 2012 expansion "Timewalkers: War of the Ancients". To redeem the pet, go to the special Promotions Page and enter in the 25-digit code that is found on the front of the card (you may need to scratch off the foil coating). The website will then give you an code to use in-game at Landro Longshot in Booty Bay, who in turn will give you your pet.
Although the pet is technically BoP, you can "cage" it after it is learned to trade or sell. To do so, access your pet menu, right-click on the pet in your list and select the caging option.
This pet closely resembles the warlock spell Eye of Kilrogg. A similar wild pet, called the Arcane Eye, is glowing bluish reskin of this same model. It can be caught can be caught in Deadwind Pass near Karazhan.
In the end, a blighthawk would be a better option. But for collection purposes this is the only Undead floating eye (other floating eyes are Magic) making it quite the unique specimen. 305 Attack means it's still valuable for fighting, but without a heal or a high powered cooldown it's usefulness is limited in a battle. Reflection is the key to getting that attack, but players are unpredictable and trainers have stats to back up even mundane abilities (though reflecting Stormlash's (Aki the Chosen's dragon) first attack will give you somewhat of an edge against him.)
lvl 25: 1481/305/257 Gavity 2nd use has little to no effect on most fights (seeing that the 2nd use doesn't do damage) so a Gravity-Eyeblast-Soulward would be best for outlasting foes while doing nice dmg with the 1st spell. (eyeblast to outspeed them to make sure the ward goes before the oponents turn)
