The general 30-second CD for trinket-swapping applies here. Using this item will send the player a medium distance up in the air without incurring fall damage, lasting 5 seconds. It also pushes the player slightly backwards.

Restrictions

• Engineers and goblins originally were able to use to  Goblin Glider and  Rocket Jump, respectively, in conjunction with this item; this was removed in the hotfixes for November 9, 2012.
• Patch 5.1.0 also removed the ability to use this trinket in battlegrounds.
•  Demonic Leap and  Disengage share a CD with this item.
• There is no level requisite to equip the item, but there's still (apparently) a hidden level requirement to be able to activate the use effect.
• Only usable in outdoor areas that also allow flying. This rules out places such as  Timeless Isle.
