Ra'sha's Sacrificial Dagger
- Ra'sha's Sacrificial Dagger
- Item Level 1
- Binds when picked up
- Unique
- Use: A faint whispering can be heard inside of your own head. The dagger bids you to thrust it deep into your heart. Do you dare comply? (Only effective while below level ctrmin2,066.)
- (30 min cooldown)
- Cannot be used in Arena.
This item instantly kills you when used. It is the first item in the long history of World of Warcraft to cause your character to instantly and always commit suicide, and it even works in combat and in raids. It also does not cause you to take durability loss.

Hah, good point. I honestly forgot that quest. Though, my statement was worded specifically enough that it isn't technically wrong ("always").
The dagger's CD has been increased to 30 minutes and is reported to now have a cast time of 1 second.
Edit: The item is now usable only for characters below level 91. It is speculated that this was to prevent owners of the item from using it to bypass boss mechanics like in Mythic (previously Heroic) difficulty of Garrosh Hellscream in SoO.
As of WoD, you can only use this while at level 90. Not above, not below. I tried using it early on in WoD while leveling, and the error it gave me boiled down to "you're too wise for that."
I feel like this will lead to easier exploiting when you can die on command, and use ghost form to get to new places :P
Finally, I actually can sacrifice myself in order to increase the chance of the raid's success! (And, if the whole raid is going to die, I may as well try to save myself a repair bill.)
Funny, you don't look like a gnome in your avatar ;)
