Patrannache is a rare spawn crane with a bright pink skin that wanders through the Valley of the Four Winds. He is the only crane with a pink skin (note: until patch 5.4). His name seems to be an ode to Mulgore's Mazzranache who used to be the only pink plainstrider in the game.
Patrannache is tameable, but stealthed. The way to find him is to search for his tracks, follow them and drop a flare when you see a new one appear. Put a Hunter's Mark on him as soon as you see him appear, because he will disappear again as soon as he leaves your flare. He will not attack you while you are taming him but he can walk out of range, so you might want to try to get in front of him before starting.
Unlike other mobs whose tracks were fixed to face the correct way, Patrannache's tracks are backwards and are facing the direction opposite that he is heading, so make sure you follow them in reverse. (edit: this has been corrected)
Patrannache has a massive patrol path all over the Valley and his "Barely Visible Tracks" are aptly named. I found this YouTube video to be very helpful, but it still took me two days to find him:
