Backbreaker Uru patrols from the middle of Lightning Vein Mine to a short distance outside the western exit of Lightning Vein Mines. As such, he cannot be accessed until the server has progressed to Stage 4 by taking control of The Thunder Forges. To defeat Backbreaker Uru, the player should remove the root effect by any means possible and jump when there is about half a second left on his quake attack.

Backbreaker Uru's most powerful ability is  Massive Stomp, which will hit most players for over 200k damage. To avoid this damage, you must jump. However, lag is -always- an issue with abilities like this, and I've personally found that I needed to jump about 0.5 seconds before the cast on Massive Stomp ended to consistently avoid it (and my latency is good - 100ms typically). In addition, Backbreaker Uru also casts  Break Spine, which prevents you from jumping for the Massive Stomp. You can remove Break Spine with any effect that breaks crowd control effects or roots, and you may also be able to avoid it being applied by running away from him when he starts casting Break Spine (I didn't try).
