This quest is part of the Chapter I of the Black Prince story that will ultimately earn you a legendary gem to place in a Sha-Touched weapon.

The full quest chain for Chapter I is as follows:

It begins with the  Mysterious Note, which is given from several NPCs in Pandaria.  It will direct to you visit Wrathion in the Veiled Stair for the quest Stranger in a Strange Land.  Once there, he will ask you to share a drink with him for the quest A Legend in the Making which gives you some lore background and his story.

Wrathion will then give you two quests to complete:

• The Strength of One's Foes
• Trial of the Black Prince

 Sigil of Power and  Sigil of Wisdom drop in  Mogu'shan Vaults,  Heart of Fear, and  Terrace of Endless Spring on any difficulty level.

The reputation can be farmed from various level 90 mobs out in the world.

After this, you will get the quest Fear Itself which requires you to kill the Sha of Fear in the  Terrace of Endless Spring to get the  Chimera of Fear.  This item can be looted in LFR, Normal or Heroic modes.

Finally, he will ask you to meet just outside the inn to complete Breath of the Black Prince and pick up your new gem and the achievement  Chapter I: Trial of the Black Prince and begin the second chapter.

I discovered that minimizing World of Warcraft (because I've heard Wrathion's spiel so many times now that I prefer to browse the WWW) essentially pauses the role-play experience. So, yeah... don't minimize the game client, just let it run in the background.

Wrathion's agents whisper quietly to one another.

Wrathion says: Very good. Let's talk.

Wrathion says: Tong! Drinks, please.

Wrathion says: My father, Deathwing, tried to destroy the whole of Azeroth.

Wrathion slices his hand, spilling blood onto the inn's floor. A vision of the planet, Azeroth, rises up.

Wrathion says: He was misguided, of course, but he was right about one thing: Our world is... so fragile.

Wrathion says: We are a point of light in a universe of shadow. A candle in a tempest.

Wrathion says: Sometimes I think it was the very precariousness of our world that drove my father to madness.

Tong approaches with the drinks. Wrathion turns to face the Pandaren innkeeper.

Wrathion says: Ah, thank you Tong.

While Wrathion drinks from his cup, Tong approaches you with the tray of drinks. (You can either take the drink or decline it by just ignoring him; neither choice will affect the quest.)

Wrathion says: Now, to my point: I believe we are headed towards a reckoning. And no, I am not talking about the current conflict between the Alliance and the Horde.

Wrathion says: Believe me - what Garrosh Hellscream achieved in Theramore is nothing compared to the horrors that are even now bearing down on our fragile home.

Several fel-colored meteors (much like the ones seen in the Warcraft III game trailer that herald the coming of the Burning Legion) are seen viciously striking the world.

Wrathion says: But the war deeply troubles me. Do you see my concern?

Wrathion says: A divided Azeroth cannot possibly stand against the darkness.

The vision of Azeroth is consumed in blood-red flames.

Wrathion says: This war has to end. Soon. Before it consumes our strength!

The vision of Azeroth fades away. Wrathion walks to the middle of the room. A banner with the Horde insignia appears behind Wrathion. (If you are Alliance, the banner and Wrathion's dialogue change to reflect that.)

Wrathion says: You can rest assured that my loyalties lie with your Horde.

Wrathion says: How do we bring a swift and decisive end to the conflict? I believe the answer lies with heroes like you.

Wrathion says: We must ensure that you are up to the task... and then equip you accordingly.

You speak again with Wrathion and complete the quest.

Wrathion says: Try to stay alive! We are only just beginning our legendary journey.
