Mr. Pointy, I used my 
Dragon Kite, although I've heard moths are pretty strong against him. I didn't have as strong a fights using a moth, so I swapped to the kite which did well and even left me a vocano over for 
Otto.
I thoroughly creamed the cow using an S/S
Crow.

If defeated, he rewards a
Greater Darkmoon Pet Supplies which has a chance to contain 
Syd the Squid!
After you have beatn Cristoph, his flavour text when you speak with him is:
"Look at my horse, isn't it magnificent? My partner over there doesn't even HAVE a horse. Turn your face from them now, and look back at me. Still on a horse! Aren't you amazed? And look at how great my hat is!"
