I am fully occupied here organizing my troops and planning for the battle to come. While I would like to slay the Dreadlord Tichondrius myself, I will allow that honor to be yours, Huln Highmountain.

Posted Jan 27, 2016 (Patch 7.0.1)This quest is ridiculous to complete in the alpha. I finally took down Tichondrius by dragging the demon over to Vartrus the Ancient and essentially AFK-ing while he beat up on the tree. Once Vartrus is down to 1 HP, you can finally rejoin the fight. Vartrus cannot go below 1 HP and at this point has a lot of threat. Even when I pulled it off the tree at times, Tichondrius always targeted Vartrus with Drain Life, which meant that he never healed. It takes many minutes to "kill" (in actuality banish him since demons may only die in the Nether) the demon lord after that.
